Recall Rise is a full-stack language-learning product. The React Native application delivers a focused cross-platform learning experience, supported by a Laravel back end that provides the server-side foundation for the product.

The challenge

Simple to use.
Built end to end.

Vocabulary practice can quickly become repetitive or overwhelming. The challenge extended beyond creating a clear learning loop: the mobile experience and server-side application needed to work together as one dependable product.

The approach

One product, from interface to server.

The interface keeps each practice step direct: see the word and its context, recall the answer, then move forward. Progress and status cues remain visible without competing with the exercise itself.

I built the mobile experience in React Native and the back end in Laravel. That full-stack approach let the client experience and server-side behaviour evolve together, while hints, multiple meanings and pronunciation support add depth without disrupting the core learning flow.
